Durable, flexible, odorless, tasteless, and non-toxic, Polyethylene 1/4 RO Tubing for Reverse Osmosis Systems is pliable but not soft, and compatible with RO(DI) systems that utilize 1/4 water line. The 1/4" measurement is the outside diameter of the tubing and will work with all 1/4" Push-Connect fittings.
Four Length Sizes are available: 15 Feet, 30 Feet, 60 Feet, and 100 Feet. Each length will be a continuous piece. If you need a single piece longer than what is listed, contact with the seller first.
To use the tubing, simply connect it with the push fit connectors and deliver the water to the applications you need. Be sure to cut the tubing evenly and straight, without crimping it. Then insert it straight and all the way into the connector. If it's crooked, not inserted all the way, or crimped, it may leak.
The tubing is made of food grade Polyethylene (PE) materials and is NSF Certified, which means it has undergone rigorous structural and material testing to ensure it meets the standards for drinking water. It is ideal for plumbing applications requiring low temperature, flexibility, and durability.
The tubing has a 1/4" O.D./Outside diameter (≈6.5mm) and a 0.142" I.D./Inside diameter (≈4.15mm), with an inside/outside wall thickness of ≈1.46mm. It can withstand a Working Temperature range of 70°F to 150°F and a Max Pressure of 120PSI. It is compatible with all PureSec quick connect fittings or Compression fittings by others' that utilize 1/4" Polyethylene Tubing.
Common applications for the tubing include water purification systems, reverse osmosis systems, drinking water filters, refrigerator ice makers and misting systems, car wash systems, home/office coffee and beverage dispensing equipment, and pneumatic lines, as well as many other applications requiring connections for the transfer of water and liquids.
The red tubing is used on most reverse osmosis systems to designate that the water flowing through it is unfiltered. On most reverse osmosis systems, the red tubing will run from the source water connection through pre-filters and up to the source water input on the membrane. After the membrane, the color of the tubing will usually change to blue to designate product water, and black to designate waste-water.
Our RO Tubing offers dimensional stability, uniformity, and long-term strength, with a higher burst pressure and greater tensile strength. It provides prime pressure and temperature ratings and has outstanding resistance to environmental stress cracking. White, Black, Blue, Yellow, and Red colors are available.
